The FSNA LEAD Summit begins with a full day deep dive: Leading and Managing Teams with Emotional Intelligence, presented by the Crummer Rollins Center for Management and Executive Education. Designed to engage participants through a variety of learning activities; the program focus is Emotional Quotient: the ability to monitor your own emotions, drivers, capabilities, as well as those of your staff members, to unite them into a high function team that produces successful outcomes. 

The second day of the LEAD Summit will begin with Enlightening Rounds; select vendors will introduce new products and recipes; new equipment and new uses!

Up next, Engaging Gen Z through Branding and Innovation. Then it’s lunchtime! A short stroll through the historic Rollins campus leads attendees to the Cornell Café. See and taste how Sodexo presents its meal program to college students. Carry out a dessert, grab a cup coffee and settle in for the grand finale; a keynote by restaurant trend and leadership consultant, Bobby Shaw. He’ll share his perspectives on organizational health, and creating corporate culture. Employed by Chipotle for 10 years during its rise to fame, Shaw will talk about how the team worked to establish the company, develop the brand and build the Chipolte culture.

Tim Flanagan, MA. is the owner and lead consultant at Custom Leadership Solutions. In this role, he designs and delivers programs on leadership, teamwork, conflict management, problem solving, emotional intelligence, communication, organizational culture, and change. Tim is the co-author of four books: Leading Forward, 2014, Becoming a Conflict Competent Leader, 2012, 2007, Building Conflict Competent Teams, 2008, and Developing Your Conflict Competence, 2010. He is the author of numerous articles and is a frequent presenter at national and regional conferences and meetings. Robert K Prescott, Ph.D., SPHR, SHRM-SCP has spent twenty years in industry and eighteen years in teaching and consulting roles. He is currently a Corporate Engagement Consultant for the College of Continuing Studies at The University of Alabama. Most recently, he was Associate Professor of Management at the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida.
