Recognized in 2016 by Fast Casual in their annual Top 100 report as a Top 25 Executive, Bobby Shaw has held senior leadership roles with several restaurant companies, including Wahlburgers where he led the largest franchise organization developing the brand in the upper Mid-west and internationally in the United Kingdom. Prior to Wahlburgers, Bobby led Salad and Go, a disruptive innovation that is changing the way America thinks of and consumes traditional drive-thru fast food as Chief Executive Officer, as well as leading Freebirds World Burrito for 3 years, where he oversaw a complete transformation of the brand voice, re-engineered the menu, implemented a new service model, and created a new restaurant design. Prior to Freebirds, Bobby held the position of Executive Regional Director for Chipotle Mexican Grill where he helped the company achieve rapid growth through developing a strong people culture and operating great restaurants.

Bobby got his start in the restaurant business at McDonald's where he spent 17 years, starting his career in the kitchen and working his way up to a successful multi-unit leader, before joining Chipotle as an Area Manager in 2002, where he held various roles in the organization.

In 2008 Bobby was promoted to Executive Regional Director for Chipotle in the South Region where he opened restaurants in 7 new markets across 11 states from 2008-2012, and was one of the chief architects of the strong people culture to support the high growth Chipotle experienced during that time. Bobby grew the South Region to over 200 restaurants during his tenure and his tenacious focus on developing people gave him the opportunity to guide numerous individuals into senior leadership roles throughout the organization by building a culture of recognizing top talent and promoting from within to create opportunities that otherwise wouldn't have existed.

With over three decades in the hospitality industry, Bobby's approach to strategy and implementation coupled with his passion for leadership development and promoting from within, has helped him develop many high caliber leaders throughout the fast casual and QSR restaurant segments that enjoy successful careers today.

In 2017 Bobby joined Iron Sharpens Iron, a Mastermind Group led by Aaron Walker, where he walks alongside 10 other men to provide peer coaching, support, and professional coaching to each other, across many different disciplines.

An avid writer, Bobby writes about leadership development extensively on LinkedIn, various industry publications, and on his blog at bobbyshawconsulting.com.
